Since my last post Brian and I have welcomed our beautiful son into the world! William "Mason" Donlan was born Tuesday, May 4th at 6:17pm. He weighs 7lbs 1oz and was 20in long ... and he's just as handsome as can be! And we are sooooooo in love!!!!

Brian and I had a doctors appointment with a scheduled ultrasound at 11am on Tuesday, May 4th and during that ultrasound we discovered that Mason was in fact still breech. Since everything was looking good, we decided to go ahead and schedule the c-section for later that afternoon vs waiting til Thursday (which is when we were originally scheduled to be induced) and taking the chance for his vitals, etc. to change. My mom made it to Greenville before we even left for the hospital and my dad pulled up at the hospital right as we were walking in ... and Brian's parents were there while I was being prepped for surgery. Lawton and Peg arrived while I was in recovery! I'm surprised no one got a speeding ticket!

We were able to return home with our little bundle on Friday, May 7th and had a GREAT weekend with family. I had my first Mother's Day on Sunday and we had both our families over for a cook-out - it was an extra special day! And, we've been Skyping a lot with Mason's Unkie T-bone (Trey) and Aunt Katie since they are still out in Spokane.

Mason is doing wonderfully and is such a joy!! :) He had his first doctors appointment on Monday and everything looks good. He is nursing well and was already back to his birth weight. Brian and I are loving every single minute with him ... and Belle seems to be enjoying his company too. ;)

We can't wait for him to meet you!

Love,
Lindsey
