Mason's Baptism

Mason was baptized today at Westminster Presbyterian Church and I honestly couldn't have asked for a more special and beautiful day. Thank you so much to our families who traveled to Greenville to share in this moment with us - we appreciate it so much! We love you!

And, Mason didn't cry! I think he may have made his new funny face while we were up at the front of the church (he has this new face he makes that looks like an old man without any teeth), but other than that he did great! He was wonderful! :)

All dressed up before church

Such a handsome little man! Look at those cute knees!

Mason is wearing the same shoes that both Trey and Lawton wore when they were baptized. However, he was not able to wear the same outfit - it was too small for my chunky monkey! :) The bib (which has a stitched cross on it) was a gift to Mason from his Great Granddad, Nick.

I think Mason's over all this picture taking!

Weekend with the Girls

Mason just spent a fun weekend with the girls! Brian left early Saturday morning for the Clemson/Auburn game (at Auburn) and my mom came up to keep me company. We spent the weekend shopping, dining, and watching football - it was perfect! Here are a few pictures:

Belle sits so pretty for the camera

Watching Clemson play in our PJs!

Gran Ann is so silly!

Do you have your tickets to the gun show?

Our first trip to the Asheville Farmers Market

Lots of colorful pumpkins for decorating!

I thought these would be fun to carve and clean :)

Goofy pumpkins

Lots of delicious apples ...

Lots of beautiful flowers ...

and one worn out little boy!

Mason also had his four month well check on Friday (a few weeks late) and here are his stats:

Weight: 16lbs 10oz (73%)
Length: 25.5 in (60.6%)
Head: 41 1/4 cm (13%)

Mason just laughed and giggled at his doctor when he was examining him, it was pretty cute! Mason did catch his first cold and I kept him out of "school" on Tuesday. When I picked him up on Thursday his teachers said that he was "talking" and laughing and smiling all day, and that they loved his smile! :) I promise to post some more school pictures next time.

We hope y'all had a great weekend too!

Love you!

Week of Firsts

C-L-E-M-S-O-N ... T-I-G-E-RRRRRR-S!

Mason "watched" his first Clemson football game today!!! Clemson played North Texas and we WON 35-10. Woohooo! We watched the game with our friends Laurie and Shay and their adorable little man, Rivers. Mason loved watching Rivers do all sorts of big boy things, especially walking!!!! Here are a few pictures of Mason sporting some Clemson orange (I promise he was smiling right before these pictures were taken!) -

Mason thought Belle's kisses were hilarious!

Mason also had his first week of "school" and I'm happy to report that we both did great! His teachers email a daily journal which always includes a few pictures. I thought it would be fun to let you see what he did in class this week :) ...

Mason and Daddy before we dropped Mason off for his first day of school

Mason is in the far left bumbo, enjoying being outdoors and learning about the different sounds jingles make!

Mason is sitting in middle bumbo, investigating with his hands and playing with a new material

Mason is sitting in far left bumbo (this view gives you a good look at what we call his "soul patch" - the hair at the back of his head), investigating with his ears and eyes. He discovered what he looked like in a mirror and explored music with his "classmates"

Mason also turned 4 months old on Saturday!!!!!
